Profile: SSSL is a dynamic company with a very creative and entrepreneurial spirit. Its main objective is “to develop products and services that exceed the expectations of its customers, thereby guaranteeing repeat business.” The company was established in 1998 with the specific aim to supply and cater to the high demand for specialty dietary foods. This service was first offered to tour companies, but quickly expanded to include sports outlets that requested natural nutritional food supplements for its discerning customers.

In 2005, the company embarked on a new and exciting food product called GARRI, which is the staple food of choice for most of West Africa’s population. It’s based on cassava, and provides a healthier alternative to products derived from maize, which reigns supreme in East Africa.

Relationship: We immediately recognized the unique qualities of GARRI, and assisted SSSL in acquiring patents in 15 countries throughout Africa. Next, we formulated a marketing plan to get the product into the hands of consumers. This culminated with GARRI obtaining shelf space in Nakumatt supermarkets throughout Kenya while negotiations with Uchumi, Tusker and other establishments are still underway. What’s remarkable is the fact that NO advertising of any kind has been made to promote GARRI; yet its fame has even spread to neighboring Tanzania and Uganda.

Profile: As the economic and diplomatic hub of East Africa, Nairobi is definitely the place to be if you want to connect with foreign embassies, NGOs and other prominent organizations. Embacare came to life as a result of the sheer frustration and disappointment in dealing with contractors for various reasons. In short, Embacare is a dream team of professionals who specialize in different fields (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, landscaping, catering, babysitting, tailoring, painting, interior decorating, welding, fumigation, shopping delivery, etc.) in order to specifically cater to the needs of embassies and international organizations in Kenya.

Relationship: The company recently invented an innovative sanitation product (toilet wipe) that promises to improve the cleanliness of public toilets around the world. As such, patents have already been granted thanks to our assistance. The next phase of our relationship is to manufacture and market this unique product which is sure to be well received by the consumers.

Relationship: The crafty inventors at AP2 are so fastidious about hygiene that they devised an exciting anti-bacterial trolley wipe that promises to transform the state of hygiene in shopping centers and airports around the world. Thanks to our help, patents have already been granted to manufacture and distribute the product exclusively. The next step is to assist AP2 in finding the right company in Asia to manufacture their new invention. Most importantly, the outlook - based on consumer feedback - is very bright…and clean.
